Denmark ExchangeOur photography teacher had been in touch with an art teacher over in Denmark and they decided to creating an art exchange between the two classes of students. To start the exchange all the students from both classes posted and picture of themselves as a child online so that someone from the other school would be able to download them, adapt in a variety of ways and the repost the back onto the internet. The image on the left is the one which I submitted.

To created the images I first printed out lots of copies of the original image in various colours and sizes. For my first adaptation I cut out the vast majority of the girls jumper leaving only the seem, then I used one of the unusual prints I made to fill the space where jumper was. To do this I just glued that picture behind the original one. For my second adaptation I printed off the image in several different sizes. Then, starting in the middle I cut up small sections of the image and arranging them so that they would still represent the original image.
